Harmony of the sculptor and
the caster
Michel Audiard was born in Paris in 1951.
After studies in Fine Arts School in 1968, he brushes portraits
in Saint Germain and sculpts in numerous materials. In 1978,
he builds its first art foundry in Normandy then in Touraine
(Loire Valley), region which he appreciates for its beauty and
its nearness of Paris, there where shines the main thing of
the artistic activity (exhibitions, collections, auctions).
To privilege the unique
For him, the Lost Wax Technique is the
royal way of the sculpture. He creates sculptures, furniture,
jewels, and, in 1995, creates his first fountain pen. Why a
pen ? " So that one can use a sculpture, so that the sculpture
becomes an object of pocket pleads to write ". His fountain
pens are created in materials as different as bronze, gold,
silver, ebony, mahogany, mammoth ivory or meteorites.
